Our first show dog – Cadhla joined our family in August 2013 and was bred by Orlagh Murray who we will be forever grateful for trusting us with this sweet girl. We started showing her in October 2013 and at her second show, Bull Breeds Championship Show she won Best Baby Puppy in Breed! She loves being in the ring and her favorite moment is being placed, which means the rosettes or cards will be given, so she can proudly hold it in her mouth. She is such a laugh! Cadhla is a pleaure to have, such a funny and crazy, lovely girl who loves swimming more then anything! She is very special to all of us, her and Lucy are inseparable. Cadhla started her gundog training in March 2015, she seems to absolutely love it and we are hoping to enter her into the first test.

Golden Retriever Club Of Wales, 12th February 2017 , 1st in Limit Bitch – by Ms Vicky Clarke: What a beautiful free standing and sound moving bitch who has really come into her own this winter, she improves each time I see her. Presented in gleaming coat, and totally at one with her handler. Possessing the kindest of heads, with a gentle expression. Lovely reach of neck, correct front assembly, straight in front with the best of toplines. Deep mature body with good rib, short coupled, strong hindquarters with neat well let down hocks. Her ever wagging tail suggests that she is totally happy and really enjoying herself, this is also apparent when she is moving, covering the ground effortlessly. Another, who I considered for top honours.

Boston & District Canine Society Championship Show, 5th January 2017 – Res Bitch CC (Limit Class) by Mrs Jacquie Smallcombe : loved this bitch, in gold coat, feminine head, broad skull, dark eye giving lovely soft expression, well off for bone, excellent angles both fore & aft, moved out with drive & purpose. RCC.

Midland Golden Retriever Club, 4th December 2016 – Bitch CC (Limit class) and Best In Show by Mrs E Anne Orzel: Just loved this girl, so compact, nothing overdone, presents such a beautifully balanced outline, head of correct proportions with an expression from dark eye showing such intelligence & softness, dark pigment, excellent length of neck into shoulder with good layback & upper arm, deep chest, well sprung rib, strong topline, well muscled quarters, short hocks, correct tailset, moved with good front extension, animation & drive from the rear using her tail to advantage & holding a firm & smooth topline all the way. A joy to watch. In such strong competition was pleased to award her a well deserved CC & delighted that my co judge agreed that she be BIS.

Berkshire Downs & Chilterns Golden Retriever Club, 15th November 2015 – Bitch CC (Limit & Open class) by Dr. Ruth Barbour: Still quite a youngster but stood out for me today for her balanced construction, tpicaal golden expression and true, easy movement helped by her confident but sensible temperament – her tail never stopped gently wagging. Particularly good neck and forequarters. Feet more catlike than many today. Short coupled. Strong well-muscled hind quarters. Moved easily and truly. In no way exaggerated. Bitch CC. For BIS and Reserve BIS had to give way to the more mature dogs. 1st in Limit, 1st in Open, Stud Book Number & Bitch CC International Dog Show Warsaw, Poland 11th July 2015 (Open) by Ms Zofia Konderla Excellent size and proportions, excellent top line, excellent front and rear angulation, deep, well sprung chest, nice head and neck, excellent coat, movement and temperament. 1st in Open, CWC International Dog Show Rzeszow, Poland 24th May 205, (Intermediate) by Ms Janis Ward: Lovely mid golden bitch, very well balanced, not overdone, perfect proportions, well muscled, very obedient, light and correct movement.
